Why are there people in my building?

Well my entire staff is back and I should be getting a few residents today and tomorrow for new student orientation. I can't believe that break is almost over, its weird I feel like 2 days have went by but at the same time it feels like forever. I really enjoyed being alone and having time to sit and think and do nothing.

We start classes on Monday, my LAST SEMESTER!!! yay, its bitter sweet. I can not wait to be a big girl and leave Marquette but at the same time its going to be really hard to leave here. What can you do.

But since break is almost done I have came up with a new idea for my blog I'm going to turn it into a photo blog :) One photo a day!!! I have to wait to I get my new phone, which should be soon, so look for this exciting change

I haven't posted in a few days and I'm very sorry about that. I have been a busy little bee. Wait for pictures for the things I have been working on. I'm getting up early to get more done. Good night

Sunday Things

I did nothing at all today. I went to sleep last night with the intention of getting up early and getting stuff done, starting the year off on a good foot. But then I didn't wake up until 3:30 because I couldn't sleep and it was snowing and my futon was just so nice to lay on.

I did shovel today because the UP is in the middle of a blizzard, like for real. I was shoveling for 2 hours and it looked like I did nothing. The weather boy, because he looked like he was 10, said that its supposed to snow until Tuesday night...this should be fun.

Hey guys,

Sorry this post is so late but we had a mini party with some of the other covering RAs tonight for new years. We hung out, had some food, and talked nothing to big. It was a wonderful night, probaly one of the best NYE ever. I don't really like new years eve because I have never had a good one but tonight changed that and I made some new friends. I am very excited to see where 2o12 takes me, I have a lot of changes coming up in my life so we will see :)

Something I will be focusing on for this year is not taking anything for granted and truly appreciating the blessings I have in my life. Tonight my friend Lewis left this on my facebook wall:

This post made me realize how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life. Its easy to over look the little things in life it is my goal in 2012 to not over look them and think the Lord everyday for those things/people.
